Race 3: Many thanks to everyone who raced on 20 July and also to those who helped out.
It was a pleasure to have one of the Project VIper athletes, Keith and his guide, taking part in practise for the London Triathlon in August. All profits from the races will be going to the 4 Project VIper charities which are all Visual Impairment related.

We had a fantastic turn-out from the juniors, some excellent performances and by the looks of it some close finishes. Towards the other end of the age spectrum, Mary Salinsky took on the full distance race and put in a very respectable time while George Elcock put in a storming swim before handing over to his younger relay partner.

Race 4: Bad weather, still good fun! I hope everyone still enjoyed themselves today despite the weather. Again it was great to have a good turn out from the juniors and also some new faces in the adults race.
Many thanks to Justin and Kirsty for helping out once more and even sticking around for me to finish when I got itchey feet watching the rest of you race. For anyone who found it hard going, my last race was a triathlon over 140 miles across 3 mountains and this "flat" sprint aquathlon over less than 3 miles felt harder.

Race 5: Perfect racing weather and our largest field so far made for a great end to the 2008 series. If you enjoyed it tell your friends, if you didn't let me know. As usual it was great to see the juniors racing and we had some great performances again. It was fantastic to have a more adults racing with the sharp end proving very fast. With both Jason and Matt within seconds of breaking 20 minutes I will donate £50 to Project VIper (our charity). Thanks also to those of you who have made donations in addition to supporting it through racing. Thanks again to Justin, Kirstie and Laura for helping out yet again. Justin raced after his stint timekeeping putting in a very good time.
